As part of the Inside Sales Team, you’ll help execute Den Hartogh’s commercial strategies and global marketing practices. The team handles all tender and spot customer requests, designing the best supply chain solutions for efficient execution.
Based in Rio de Janeiro, the Inside Sales & Pricing Specialist supports the Commercial Team. You should be comfortable with numbers, analytics, teamwork, and building relationships with our diverse customer base. In this role, you’ll be the gatekeeper, ensuring accurate and profitable quotations are delivered on time.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships and expand our business portfolio with current and potential customers.
- Ensure timely and accurate quotes aligned with customer requests and pricing targets.
- Proactively update customers on changes, rates, surcharges, and other key supply chain factors.
- Follow up on RFQs and quotations, providing feedback to Commercial Managers, Pricing, Procurement, and Operations.
- Work with Operations to develop creative transport solutions.
- Handle quotations, tender calculations, CRM updates, prospecting, and customer onboarding.
- Address missing quote details and resolve disputes with Operations and Finance.
- Suggest improvements to pricing processes and network efficiency.
- Ensure prompt and accurate responses to destination cost requests.
- Analyze customer performance to identify missed opportunities and drive new business.
- Support commercial and operational functions as needed.
- Report to the Regional Commercial Director of the Americas and collaborate with all office functions and networks.
- Deliver excellent customer service via email and phone, understanding client needs.
- Develop a knowledge center for the region and network.

- At least two years of office-based customer service experience, preferably in logistics.
- Experience in a customer-facing role.
- Strong sense of responsibility with a proactive, structured, and customer-focused approach.
- Detail-oriented, adaptable under pressure, and quick to respond to market changes.
- Eager to build strong internal and external relationships.
- Willing to participate in training and development opportunities.
